Adult Digital Photography Contest

Contestants must have a Wesson mailing address.

Picture must be:

(1)   a photo taken since January 1, 2011

(2)   a scene in the Wesson area

(3)   taken with digital camera or other digital device.

Submission deadline is Monday, April 4, 2011 at 4:30pm.

Online submissions can be e-mailed to welibmgr@gmail.com using the subject heading “photo contest submission.”  The e-mail must include the contestant’s full name, mailing address, and phone number and the picture’s location/description and date taken.  A confirmation reply will be supplied for all online entries.

Contestants unfamiliar with e-mail may submit their entry at the library on a flash drive.  The contestant’s full name, mailing address, phone number and the picture’s location/description and date must be provided on a 3x5 index card.

Senior citizens visiting the Wesson Library can vote for their favorite photo submission Monday, April 11, through Thursday, April 14 - one vote per patron per day.  Multiple votes are allowed.

           

The contest winner will receive a $25.00 Gift Certificate for Porches Restaurant, provided by the Wesson Friends of the Library.  All contestants will receive participation certificates.  All photo submissions will be posted on the Wesson Library blog (wessonlibrary.blogspot.com), will be permanently displayed at the Library on a digital frame, and will be circulated in area businesses during special events.
